William Shakespeare was born in 1564, in Stratford-upon Avon, England. He was married to Anne Hathaway. They had three children: Susana and the twins Hamnet and Judith. Sometime before 1590 he left Stratford and went to London, where he got a job as an actor, and then began with his love of writing.
Shakespeare's themes are varied: betrayal, love, war, honor and political intrigue are just some of them; but all can be transposed at different times and places.
Some of his most famous characters are Hamlet, Macbeth, Lady Macbeth and Romeo Montagne. It is estimated that Shakespeare wrote.
It is very important to know about the life of this playwright who through his writings has brought countless benefits to the English language. This is why in this class we will dedicate ourselves to know about his life and works.
To achieve this, I will support you with some activities that will help you learn more about this famous British writer.
